Several early and late radiation-induced complications of the nervous system have been described. They may include radiation necrosis, cerebrovascular disease, cognitive deficits, endocrinopathies, encephalopathy, myelopathy, plexopathy radiculopathy, neuropathy, and secondary malignancies.
